 Sasha Dolls Through The years by Dorisanne Osborn. This very informative and well laid out book is available in paper back or hard back. It contains pictures of dolls from all three Sasha productions as well as every type of Sasha produced in the UK. A brilliant way of finding out more about Sasha dolls. "Sasha Dolls Through the Years" is available directly from the author, Dorisanne Osborn at crosnest@linkny.com or by writing to Dorisanne at Box 187, Keuka Park, New York 14478 USA. Copies can be signed by the author if you wish. The softcover edition is $29 and the hardcover edition is $35, with Priority postage to the UK and Europe of $13 per package. 1967 Blonde Sasha Brown cord No Philtrum . This stunning blue eyed girl is in gently played with condition . She has soft and silky hair with a full centre parting and her hair is styled as it would have been when she left the factory . Her eyes are handpainted beautifully with feathery style lashes and large pupils . Her lips have been touched up to add some colour as they were near gone but they have been nicely done using original left over paint from the factory. She has been thoroughly cleaned and restrung by Brenda Walton and can pose nicely . The only other thing to note is she has the tiniest nose rub which just needs to be mentioned .
She wears her full original outfit which is in good order though a little faded with age . Her shoes are pristine . Price £2000
1966 Sasha Blonde Jeans No Philtrum . This very early Developmental girl is in played with but good condition . She retains her original stringing whish is quite loose so will need replacing at some point but she can stand nicely . She has a full centre parting with good hair which is a little dry at the ends . Her eyes are all handpainted and she has the silver brows which match her blonde hair . Her lips are near gone . She has some paint specs to her hand which I am certain could be removed and some playwear to her thigh which is just a few tiny dings .

1967 Redhead Dungarees No Philtrum . Here we have another superb Redhead with again beautifully painted eyes and yes fantastic condition hair . I would say however it does appear to be a little shorter than normal but whether she left the factory this way I cannot say for sure but it is very possible . This young lady is in played with but good condition with only some rubbing to her lips . She retains her original stringing which is quite loose so will need replacing at some point .

1969 Redhead Dungarees waif . This little darling is in played with condition . She has been restrung and can pose nicely, her fringe which has been cut has been partially re-rooted by Lisa Hartley and blended to colour match nicely . She has subtle eyepaint and good colour to her lips though they are a little rubbed . She has a tiny rub to the end of her nose and also some rubbing to her hand . Her hair is a little faded with some dryness to the ends . She also has some shiny marks to her face. She has a full centre parting .

1966 Gotz Ochre Highlight eyed Redhead , Here we have a very pretty little Gotz girl who is in played with but good condition . Her stringing is all original and in good order and she has no caving or splits . Her face paint is lovely though she has some slight colour loss to her lips . She has no fringe and beneath the side swept hair she has 4 short plugs which can,t be seen unless lifted . On her hip she has a little ding but vinyl is still present just like something has sliced into the vinyl , this is tiny by needs mentioning .
She comes wearing a pretty floral dress made from Liberty lawn material by Wendy . Her shoes are by Theresa and her socks commercially made . Price £600
1969 Sasha Blonde in Dyed party dress , This wide faced young lady is in played with but good condition . She has a wide fringe with good hair which has plenty of two toning and a little dryness to the ends . She has good face paint with the outlined iris and a tiny rub to her bottom lip. Her stringing is all original and her arms are very loose she is however able to stand nicely .
She comes wearing a 60s party dress which has been dyed Navy Blue , her shoes are original white prym snap mary janes with top stitching . Price £350
1969 Sasha Blonde in Blue cord . This pretty young lady is in played with but good condition . Her stringing is all original though a little loose so will need replacing at some point soon . Her hair is soft and silky with plenty of two tonign and her fringe may have had a tiny trim . Her eye paint is good though her lips have paled and the top lip is rubbed .
She comes wearing an early wide dress which is a transitional dress and it has the velcro cuffs where you would expect to see poppers, the collar has been repaired but very nicely done . Her underwear is white ribbed and original . her shoes are from 1972 and are leather in used but good order . Price £400
1969 Gregor dark in Dungarees , This handsone little lad is in played with but good condition. he has a thick mop of good NON falling hair and his face paint is lovely . He has been thoroughly cleaned and restrung by Brenda Walton and his lips have been touched up with original factory paint .

1969 Sasha Kilt no1 Full centre part. This beautiful young lady is in gently played with condition . She has a nice matt vinyl face with good face paint and the outlined iris, She has soft and silky two toned hair with a full centre parting . Her stringing is all original and in good order and she can pose nicely . She has a tinge of purple to her left knee possibly from something they has lent against her leg but I am certain this could be easily removed .
She wears her full original outfit which is in good order though her pants elastic needs replacing and her sweater is a little yellowed with age . Her shoes are in perfect order . Price £500

Her hair is soft and silky with plenty of two toning and her face paint is good . She has a little rubbing to her top lip but they retain good colour .

1966 Ochre Highlight eyed blonde ponytail . This stunning young lady is in played with but very good condition . She has soft silky thick hair and the tuft of hair at the nape of her neck associated with ponytail girls . She has been restrung and can pose nicely . Her eye paint is lovely with high pupils giving her a dreamy look . She has some colour loss to her bottom lip.
Her outfit is all original and in good order only her socks have been replaced . Price £750
1970 London girl in later outfit . This beautiful young lady is in played with but good condition . She has soft and silky hair with a partial side part where it has been rooted just off centre in the factory . Her face paint is lovely with dark blue eyes and her lips retain good colour . She retains her original stringing which is in good order and she can pose nicely .

1971/72 Brunette Gingham , This young lady has good NON falling hair though it is a little course which is quite usually for the girls with good hair . She has a graze to her nose and a tiny one to her lip. Her eyes have the slightest tinge of green but are nicely painted . She has been restrung and can pose nicely . She is in played with but good condition and has some black marks to her knuckles which I am certain could be removed .
She wears her full original outfit with replaced socks . Her shoes are a little stretched and there is a half popper missing from the rear of her dress . Price £180
1968/69 Brunette Sidepart . This vibrant faced young lady is in gently played with condition . She comes complete with her gold tag and has been restrung but retains her original stringing inside her torso. She has falling hair , unfortunately , but it does not fall when she is dressed or handled gently , only if brushed .
She comes wearing a Studio style dress made in English Viyella which is no longer produced . Her shoes are commercially made . Price £500
60s Gotz Slate eyed redhead . This very pretty small headed girl is in played with but good condition . She has wonderful soft and silky hair with plenty of curl remaining . She has been restrung and can pose nicely . Her eyes are nicely aligned and her face paint vibrant with some slight colour loss to her lips . Her fringe is full length and uncut just sticking up a little .
She comes wearing a striped sweater and socks by Nikki of Sashadollstyle , cut off navy trousers and boots by BetsyMay however boots are missing there laces . Price £650
1968 Gregor Shorts . This perfect little redhead boy is in gently played with condition , he retains his original stringing which is in good order and has very nicely styled soft and silky hair . His lips have oxidised but his eye paint is perfect .

Her lips are a little paled and she has a tiny rub to her top lip . She has been restrung and can pose nicely .

60s Gotz Blonde Unisex in Apres Ski outfit . This delightful Unisex doll is in gently played with condition. She has beautiful soft and silky hair with none missing , Her face paint is beautiful though her pupils have oxidised and she has some colour loss from her lips . She has been restrung and can pose nicely .

Her hair is soft and silky thought her fringe a little choppy . She has pretty dark blue eyes and some rubbing to her top lip. She has a tiny ding to the end of her nose also .
Her dress , pants and socks are all original and in good order . Price £170
1972/73 Blonde in Lemon . This pretty blue eyed girl is called Miriam named by her current owner . She is in played with but good condition and comes with her large silver wrist tag . She retains her original stringing which is in good order and she can pose nicely . She has soft and silky two toned hair with plenty of factory curl remaining . Her face paint is good with a tiny shiny area to her nose .

1972 Caleb dress as girl . This beautiful faced early dark Caleb is in gently played with condition with still some sand coming from his joints . His eyes have been enhanced a little with yellow highlight but the actual eyes are all original and beautifully painted. His lips are perfect and his hair very short cut . He does make a beautiful girl with tied in ribbons . He retains his original stringing which is in good order .
He comes wearing a vintage handmade dress with glass jewel button to the rear , plus a petticoat beneath . Price £250
60s Gotz Redhead large head waif . This solemn looking young lady is in played with but fair condition . She has had a hair cut at some point and has a lot of empty plugs on the first and second row around her neck , ears and forehead . She has a tiny amount of neck caving but retains her original stringing which is a little loose . She has some rubbing to her lips paint and a little bleeding around her eyes . As with many of the early Gotz she does have one leg quite a bit longer than the other so though she stands nicely she can be quite awkward to pose .
She comes wearing a 60s Gotz school shirt and original Farmpants both is good order, her sandals are later English but not matching . Price £300
1967 Gotz Re-root Adriana By Bettina Kaminski . This beautiful slate eyed girl is in played with but fair condition . Her face paint is good with some slight colour loss to her lips and she has been restrung like an English Sasha and can pose nicely . She has a tiny rub to her nose also . Bettina has made her look beautiful once more by full re-rooting her with finest Mohair in the palest blonde . She comes complete with her own care sheet .
She wears a check pleat dress with bolero and knitted bag , her socks are handknitted and she brings with her a tiny teddy knitted in the Sasha colours . Her shoes are black patent and made by Gotz . Price £450
COURSE DOLLS
Course doll in blue . This young lady has a very sulky look about her ;o) She is in very good order with some slight surface dirt marks to her face . These are not bad but just need to be mentioned . She has been given a new wig at some point as her original hemp wig has been cut short beneath . The new wig is not glued in place allowing her new owner to changed if desired .
Her outfit is all original apart from her shoes which have been replaced by handmade new ones which have been very nicely made . Price £390
Course Doll waif . This little darling is in very good order and I only call her a waif as she has had her eyes enhanced and has been rewigged with a human hair wig (which is not glued in place should anyone wish to change it ). She is stuffed with a soft material rather than the stiffness I have come to associate with course dolls I have seen .
